Rahat Cargo Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on 16th February 1989 & got accredited by IATA on 1994. The company commenced its business with forwarding general cargo from several export houses to assorted destination abroad. However, it gradually started focusing exclusively on perishable cargo comprising fruits and vegetables and has successfully got it established as a trusted business partner of reputed export houses in Delhi/Northern India. As far as possible, the company always preferred to patronize Air India in dispatching the shipments subject to available destinations and in the subsequent years, it got due recognition from the carrier for many years and achieved top agent’s award.
It may be further added that with the dedicated and non-discrepant services to our clients, we have been successful in earning their trust over the years. We are also pleased to mention that at present we are the only freight forwarder in the Northern Region which has its lone recognition having expertise in handling perishables apart from general cargo. As evident from the records, our company’s contribution as the business’ share to AI has been over a Crore every month for the preceding several months with no default in settling the fortnightly CSR billing, a scenario which never emerged with our agency.
Our agency is equipped with the required infrastructure and diligent staff who are well-versed in the related job areas with their unrelenting focus on customers’ satisfaction at the desired level. The company also has 4 DGR qualified personnel apart from its affiliate/sister concern as an approved Customs House Agent(CHA) which facilitates an expeditious custom clearance & documentation of the clients to ensure a seamless export from a single entity of Rahat Cargo.
